Owner: Kennedy Ashinze, a Nigerian native who DJs and is the owner and creative director of Globetrotter magazine. Vibe: Afrobeat tunes are sometimes slung out by a live DJ, local artwork spruces up the walls and a plexiglass accessories wall is backlit in cherry red. Price Range: Moderate-Expensive. The Look: Funky with an urban, global sense of style. Loves unique, hard-to-find items. A city dweller with an artistic curiosity, an active social life and a passion for travel.

    The owner Kennedy has fantastic taste. I’ve never gone wrong with an item purchased here. I only nicked it a start because it seems erratic with its hours, and no one ever seems to pick up the phone. Hello, customer service!
